Tuesday Evening Meditation

    Please join us for public meditation practice every Tuesday from 7pm - 8:30pm.

    Everyone is welcome, although receiving meditation instruction at least once beforehand is encouraged.

    We practice a mindfulness/awareness meditation technique called shamatha/vipashyana. Our practice includes some voluntary chanting at the beginning and end of the session. People are asked not to arrive or leave during chants, but feel free to arrive and leave during silence as needed.

    We practice alternating sitting and walking meditation for the first hour. After we short tea break, there is a facilitated discussion on a meditation topic with Q&A.
