Tuesday Evening Meditation

    Please join us for public meditation practice every Tuesday evening. No prior experience necessary.

    We practice a mindfulness/awareness meditation technique called shamatha/vipashyana. Our practice includes some voluntary chanting at the beginning and end of the session. People are asked not to arrive or leave during chants, but feel free to arrive and leave during silence as needed.

    We practive sitting and walking meditation for almost an hour. After a brief tea break, there is a facilitated discussionn on a mindfulness topic.
