August 26th (2018)

Date details +

Join us at Oak Cliff for a community-wide gathering and practice of the Shambhala Sadhana.

The Sadhana is a liturgy composed by Sakyong Mipham, the current lineage holder of the Shambhala Buddhist teachings. In this practice we meditate on the basic goodness of self, other, and society. It is a practice that is designed to strengthen our confidence in the fundamental worthiness of humanity.

The Sadhana is usually a restricted text which is presented to meditators who attend Enlightened Society Assembly, however, we will be offering this special teaching to the whole Dallas-wide community. The Sadhana will be lead by Chris Calitz, Practice & Education Director.
