The Contentment in Everyday Life program is part of the Way of Shambhala path of training in authentic meditation practices and wisdom teachings. We are offering this program as a five-part training will be presented on Sundays, May 12 - June 9, 2024 in place of our regular Dharma talks. It will be offered on Zoom as well as in person. Everyone is welcome!

    About the program
Contentment can be hard to find. Much of the time we search for contentment in things, achievements, or relationships. With meditation and contemplation practice, we can relax with ourselves as we are and appreciate simple human experience. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, mindfulness, and inquisitiveness.

Class 2 emphasizes mindfulness. We begin contemplating contentment.  The class runs from 9:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

    Cost
Classes are open to everyone and free to attend, though we welcome a donation as we are a not-for-profit and rely on donations, membership dues, and programming fees to support operations and offerings. If you want credit for the program as part of your Way of Shambhala path, the requirements include paying $10 per class and attending a minimum of 3 out of the 5 classes. Register Here
