Outdoor Meditation and Contemplation (no Zoom call)

March 31st

    Room: Villa Creek

We are doing something different this Sunday to welcome the new moon and the spring equinox with a Sojong in the Park. Note: This is an outdoor in-person event (no Zoom call today)

There is a practice in Buddhism called Sojong that gives us an opportunity to reflect on where we are in terms of refraining and, when we feel that we have made a mess of things, to put that behind us and start anew. Traditionally, Sojong takes place on the full and new moon days. It is a kind of anti-guilt process that allows us to assess ourselves honestly, acknowledge what we have done and where we are, then let go of self-judgement and move on towards a fresh start.

Meet at our Center (2695 Villa Creek Drive, Suite B146, Farmers Branch, TX 75234-7310) at 10:00 a.m. After an introduction, we will carpool to a nearby park.

At the park, we will have the opportunity to reflect on habits we would like to leave behind and seeds of intention that we would like to plant for the future.  Fun activities are included!  We will finish our celebration with a picnic in the park.

Please join us for a day full of meaning and companionship!

    Free to attend, donations welcome!
